Presentation of the quality mark accredited! Universal Design

It is our pleasure to invite you to the presentation of the quality mark Accredited! Universal Design.

Three competent partners – the International Design Centre (IDZ) in Berlin, the German Design Council and TÜV NORD Cert – together developed a quality mark for well designed and comfortable goods. Goods that correspond to the criteria of Universal Design (self-explanatory, easy to handle, universally applicable) and to technical criteria (electrical and mechanical safety) can become accredited.
Products are examined by designers, engineers and test persons of different age. It is our pleasure to present to you the quality mark and first products which are accredited as universally applicable in an opening event and at a exhibition.

According to the information given, the exhibition will last until 28th of March 2008 at the International Design Centre in Berlin (IDZ).

Greeting:
SILKE CLAUS, Director, IDZ Berlin
BODO HACKE, Head of Division, Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Berlin
