The International Design Center Berlin showcases concepts and products that are fair for all generations. The exhibition entitled "Universal Design: Designing our future" shows more than 50 products of the every day life that improve quality of life for young and old, by reason that all the products are especially user-friendly. Those will be presented in an interactive way: touching and trying out are encouraged. The selected exhibits illustrate how Universal Design is able to improve quality of life across generations. Arranged in modular form, the exhibition roams through kitchen, bathroom and living room, and also presents the areas of hobby and garden as well as public space and transport. In addition, it introduces concepts and ideas. The products invite to try out; the concept of Universal Design becomes a tangible experience.
