» Sustainable Design Forum
Discussion, dialogue and the development of new ideas are the declared goals of the IDZ, including within the the topic of Sustainable Design. Perspectives from science, business, politics, culture and design are brought together in order to develop and illustrate positions about the development of sustainable approaches in product and space design.

The Sustainable Design Forum at the IDZ offers an open and multifaceted platform to this end. Lecture series, workshops, seminars and conferences allow the topic to be broken down such that it becomes accessible to designers, manufacturers and consumers alike.

Along with partners from the business and political worlds, as well as institutions that have dedicated themselves to the principle of sustainability, the IDZ is executing these formats on a regional, national and also international level.

The Sustainable Design Forum was founded as a free, interdisciplinary work group in the Summer of 2007 by Sebastian Feucht, Moritz Grund, Paula Marie Hildebrandt, Dr. Sven Sappelt, Katrin Werner and Uwe Ozminski.
