Collection and documentation about architecture, art, design, photography and Bauhaus successional institutions (New Bauhaus, HfG Ulm,et al.).
Bauhaus stands for the synthesis of art and technic, for functional aesthetics and trend-setting teaching methods. Famous artists and architects have teached there: Walter Gropius, Mies van der Rohe, Paul Klee, Wassily Kandinsky, Lyonel Feininger, Oskar Schlemmer. Also the exposition is very diversified: architecture, furniture, ceramic, metal, weaving mill, photography, advertising.

Next its Potsdamer Platz headquarters, the arts-and-crafts museum inaugurated in Mai 2004 its second site in castle Köpenick. Under the theme "room art", the museum exhibited furnitures and arts-and-crafts of the renaissance, baroque era and rococo.
