From 11am until 13pm two parallel workshop sessions present successful m-health solutions and provide health-IT professionals with impulses on user-centered development methods for digital health applications for the end user.

The session will describe IXDS’ unique way of creating user-centred digital solutions by presenting the stories behind 3 award-winning digital health apps. Within the workshop the audience will learn human-centred design tools and co-creation methods and how to apply design thinking in product and service development.

UX in Health Day 2


From 11am until 13pm two parallel workshop sessions present successful high-tech solutions for professional health applications and provide health-IT professionals with impulses on user-centered development methods for clinical interaction technologies.

Session 1: E-Learning with SimMed

SimMed is an interactive e-learning program that enables medical examinations in a virtual environment. The multi-touch screen spans over the size of a table and allows to examine a pediatric patient by means of medical instruments and laboratory findings. Resulting out of a cooperation between Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Archimedes Exhibitions, the project tries to reduce the distance between theoretical education and practice.
