CANCELLED DUE TO COVID 19-PANDEMIE: Event | 50 Years IDZ
The Human Scale: How to Create a Happy City?

Details

On April 17th 1970 the IDZ was opened in Berlin-Charlottenburg. With an event on the topic "The Human Scale: How to Create a Happy City?" we want to continue the debates of that time exactly fifty years later. The twenty thinkers, poets and designers involved at the time, including such illustrious names as Eugen Gomringer, were joined by only one woman, a young architect. On April 20, 1970, she participated as a panelist in the discussion on "The participation of the citizen in the problems and decision-making processes in urban planning and urban renewal”. We are particularly pleased that Prof. Dr. Ingrid Krau, the young architect of that time, will give a lecture at our event and share with us her thoughts on the human scale today.

Please save the date! Further information on the programme will be published shortly.

Where? Stadtwerkstatt, Karl-Liebknecht-Straße 11, 10178 Berlin
When? Friday, 17 April 2020, from 6 p.m.
Admission: Guests: EUR 10, Reduced: EUR 5. For members of the IDZ the entrance is free.

IDZ compact training cancelled! New dates: August 14th and 15th, 2020
"Investing in the beginning - clarification of orders" with Andreas Viedt

Details

Misunderstanding is a nuisance. It lurks everywhere in the project: strategy, creation, organization, finances ... Often it only reveals itself when it is too late.

Early clarification of the assignment helps to avoid misunderstandings and annoyance. Especially in the new customer business it strengthens:

A common understanding of goals and general conditions
Attention for blind spots and stumbling blocks
Clarity about responsibilities
Personal commitment and relationship quality
Courage and possibilities to go new creative ways
Your own (leadership) role in the project

And: Good order clarification creates the best conditions for successful follow-up business.

IDZ-Coach Andreas Viedt is one of the founders of wirDesign and worked there until 2019 as executive board member and head of strategy. For the compact training, he combines his rich wealth of experience as a "customer expert" with his qualifications as Metaplan Professional® and systemic coach, among others.

In a small group (max. 9 participants), the participants learn and test effective tools for a comprehensive clarification of orders. The structure of the seminar is based on three guiding questions:

Who do I want to be for my client?
Self-conception, self-presentation and relationship building

What's this about? And what is it really about?
Anti-personnel mines, blind spots and hidden agendas

How does commitment arise?
Visualization of a common project and role understanding

The compact training (2 x 0.5 days) in German is aimed at self-employed persons, agency owners and employees in creation, consulting and strategy. It will take place for the first time on 24/25 April 2020.

Place: IDZ, rear building, 1st floor, Hagelberger Str. 52, 10965 Berlin
Time: Friday, 14 August, 13:00 to 18:00 and Saturday, 15 August, 9:30 to 13:30
Participation fee: 360 € for IDZ members, 450 € for non-members
