In 1997, glass bead maker and jewelry designer Dagmar Brückner founded the label dbeads in New York. There her first creations were shown in stores and galleries.

In 2000, she turned her back on NYC and settled in Berlin, where she opened her first store in 2003. The products can be customized depending on the customer's wishes. For those interested, Dagmar Brückner offers 3-hour courses as private lessons, in which the art of glass bead winding is taught.
